Mentor, a Siemens business, provides tools and services enabling the implementation of high performance embedded vision algorithms on parallel heterogeneous platforms. With its CodeBench Pro suite of compilers (including OpenACC support for GPUs) and its Catapult High-Level Synthesis Platform for FPGAs, Mentor has development tools for most common vision targets. Its MEPL (Mentor Embedded Performance Library) library provides high performance implementations of useful analysis functions. Nucleus RTOS, in addition to providing safety and security, also supports heterogeneous architectures, enabling vision implementations to interact as part of a larger system. And Mentor has services groups specifically focused on automotive applications and optimizing applications (for performance and memory) on parallel architectures.
