On Friday April 26, from 8:30AM-1:30PM, Embedded Vision Alliance members Analog Devices, Avnet Electronics Marketing and BDTI will co-present a workshop exploring hardware and software for image processing and video analytics, featuring the Avnet/Analog Devices Embedded Vision Starter Kit. This workshop is an excellent starting point for vision application developers interested in exploring a wide range of embedded vision applications.

From object detection and object recognition to real-time video analytics, this hands-on workshop will provide attendees with an in-depth tutorial on the basics of designing embedded systems that incorporate computer vision techniques. Taught by embedded vision experts from BDTI, Analog Devices and Avnet, the workshop will utilize the Avnet Embedded Vision Starter kit to explore a variety of topics ranging from embedded vision algorithms to software implementation and hardware acceleration.

Registration (including breakfast) begins at 7:30AM, and lunch will also be provided. The workshop costs $99, and attendees will receive an Embedded Vision Starter Kit, a $299+ value. C programming experience is a prerequisite, and Eclipse toolset experience is also helpful (but is not required).
