Laszlo Kishonti, Founder and CEO of AdasWorks, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the December 2015 Embedded Vision Alliance Member Meeting. Specifically, Kishonti demonstrates a neural network-based implementation of the company's AdasWorks 360° Intelligent Surround View system, which processes the environment around the car using the vision information from four cameras. Running on a single embedded chip (NVIDIA Tegra X1), the algorithms detect lanes, moving objects and guardrails to calculate the drivable free space for lane changes and other maneuvers. This feature enables automated driving on a highway, where being 360-degree alert is key to avoid collisions from the front, side or rear.
