Martin Lass, Product Marketing Manager at Infineon Technologies, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2016 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Lass demonstrates a tablet equipped with a time-of-flight depth sensor developed in partnership with camera manufacturer PMD Technologies.

This sensor fusion demonstration of the combination of 2D data coming from a standard RGB sensor with the 3D data measured by the REAL3 time-of-flight imager enables computational photography applications such as selective sharpening and blurring of objects at specific distances.

Here you’ll find a wealth of practical technical insights and expert advice to help you bring AI and visual intelligence into your products without flying blind.
