Infineon Technologies Demonstration of Project Tango Smartphones

Martin Lass, Marketing Manager for 3D Imaging at Infineon Technologies, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Lass demonstrates the capabilities of the world's first two Project Tango-based smartphones, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro and Asus Zenfone AR. Both phones rely on the company's REAL3 time-of-flight imager as their depth sensing technology. The depth information is used, together with other sensor data, for environment monitoring, augmented realty applications and 3D scanning.
