Durga Peddireddy, Director of Product Management at FotoNation, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Peddireddy demonstrates the combination of image processing hardware and software to deliver high performance at low power consumption. FotoNation is leveraging its design expertise to move image computing blocks onto a DSP for mobile devices without sacrificing power consumption. The result is a new solution that offers higher performance with object detection, distortion correction and motion detection, in a small footprint.
