Will Lin from Intel's Automotive Business Unit demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the January 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically, Lin demonstrates multi-class object detection for autonomous driving on live Chinese streets with busy traffic. The hardware and software integration showcases a complete ADAS object detection solution on Intel FPGA platform and highlights the capabilities of two leading technologies: Intel automotive Arria 10 FPGA (flexible, power-efficient performance and low latency) and Horizon Robotics’ BPU Engine (high precision, high density, and high speed). Through a close partnership, Intel PSG and Horizon Robotics offer customers a streamlined process in obtaining state-of-the-art ADAS object detection capabilities with Intel FPGAs.
