Flex Logix Demonstration of the InferX X1P1 Running Hardhat Detection with High Speed and Accuracy

Salvador Alvarez, director of solutions architecture at Flex Logix Technologies, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Alvarez demonstrates the InferX X1 AI accelerator running a real-time high-resolution hardhat detection algorithm on the X1P1 PCIe accelerator in a standard industrial PC system. The X1P1 accelerator provides a 83x speedup versus the algorithm running on the PC without acceleration.
