Analog Devices Demonstration of the MAX 78000 AI Microcontroller with an Ultra-low-power CNN Accelerator

Navdeep Dhanjal, Executive Business and Product Manager for AI Microcontrollers at Analog Devices, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2023 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Dhanjal demonstrates Analog Devices’ MAX78000 AI-optimized microcontroller.

The MAX78000 is an advanced system-on-chip featuring an Arm Cortex-M4 with FPU CPU for efficient system control, along with an ultra-low-power deep neural network accelerator. You can use the MAX 78000 in applications such as audio processing (for multi-keyword recognition, sound classification, noise cancellation, etc.), facial recognition, object detection and classification, time-series data processing: heart rate/health signal analysis, multi-sensor analysis, and predictive maintenance.

Here you’ll find a wealth of practical technical insights and expert advice to help you bring AI and visual intelligence into your products without flying blind.
