Jonathan Lee, Manager of the Global Strategy Team at Nextchip, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2025 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Lee demonstrates a high definition analog video solution using his company’s STELLA5 module.
Lee showcases how Nextchip’s proprietary AHD (Analog HD) technology offers a more cost-efficient and practical alternative to digital video transmission methods like LVDS. AHD technology enables longer transmission distance, lower system costs, less weight, and simplified system architecture. STELLA5 is a new 3-in-1 chip solution co-developed with Samsung that integrates Samsung’s 1.3 megapixel image sensor, Nextchip’s ISP core, and an AHD transmitter, all in a compact form factor.
