Munich, Bavaria, Germany – September 4th, 2025.– ImagingNext is raising the bar with its keynote and featured speakers. Taking place on September 18–19, 2025 at the smartvillage in Munich-Bogenhausen, ImagingNext will bring together industry leaders, developers, and decision-makers to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming imaging technologies. The premiere edition of ImagingNext features an impressive lineup of keynote presentations from world-class experts, showcasing how AI is changing everything from secure access systems to intelligent edge devices.
Maycon Douglas da Silva Carvalho, Sr. Solution Architect at NVIDIA, will deliver the keynote “Accelerate Physical AI and Industrial Automation with NVIDIA,” exploring how autonomous robots can navigate complex industrial environments, make real-time decisions, and learn from virtual simulations-powered by cutting-edge Edge AI and digital twins. Carvalho will highlight how the NVIDIA Jetson platform, including the new Jetson Thor SoC, combines GPU, CPU, and AI acceleration to handle demanding robotics workloads at the edge. He will also present how NVIDIA Omniverse enables the creation of high-fidelity digital twins, allowing developers to simulate sensors, prototype AI models, and validate robotic systems virtually before deployment-accelerating breakthroughs and supporting scalable rollout across industries.
This year, ImagingNext is honored to have the support of RealSense as a key sponsor. In “Biometrics and AI,” Eyal Rond, General Manager and VP of R&D for RealSense Biometrics and Access Control Solutions, will guide attendees through the AI architectures and training methods behind modern facial authentication. He will highlight how convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are used for face recognition and spoof detection, covering the full software pipeline from feature extraction and template creation to spoof analysis. Rond will also share strategies for dataset utilization-including public, private, and synthetically generated data-to reduce bias and improve model accuracy across diverse demographic groups, along with real-world examples demonstrating performance in varied lighting and environmental conditions.
ImagingNext 2025 will feature also presentations from Altera and NXP. Dr. Alex Lopich, Director of Engineering at Altera, will present “Sensi, Vidi, Intellexi: Developing Imaging Systems on FPGA – from Interfacing to Processing to Understanding,” showcasing how FPGA technology enables flexible, high-performance imaging pipelines for next-generation vision systems. Ali Osman Ors, Head of Global AI and Vision Strategy at NXP, will then explore advances in ISP and embedded AI in his talk “Empowering the Intelligent Edge: Innovations in Embedded Vision from Sensor to Inference,” highlighting how clean imaging and on-device intelligence are transforming industries from smart vehicles and IoT to factory automation.
Additional speakers at ImagingNext 2025 include SONY, Muybridge, Prophesee, Toradex, TU Dortmund University, and FRAMOS, giving attendees a wide-ranging view of the latest innovations and developments in AI-driven vision.
Last-minute registration is available until September 12th for anyone who wants to join the conference, connect with industry experts, and exchange insights with professionals in the field.
