The 2026 Awards program features seven product categories, showcasing
groundbreaking technologies that make AI and computer vision smarter, faster, and more efficient at the edge.
1. Edge AI Processors
Edge processor components delivered as integrated chips (ICs) that are designed to accelerate artificial intelligence and vision workloads directly on edge devices, including system-on-chips (SoCs), microprocessor units (MPUs), microcontroller units (MCUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), neural processing units (NPUs), processors implemented in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and dedicated AI accelerators. This category focuses on processors delivered as ICs. It excludes image signal processors (ISPs), codecs, digital signal processors (DSPs), and vision processors, which are recognized within the Cameras and Sensors category.
2. Edge AI Processor IP
Edge processor components delivered as intellectual property (IP) for edge processor
designs, including system-on-chips (SoCs), microprocessor units (MPUs),
microcontroller units (MCUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), neural processing units (NPUs), processors implemented in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and dedicated AI accelerators. This category focuses on processors delivered as intellectual property (IP). It excludes image signal processors (ISPs), codecs, digital signal processors (DSPs), and vision processors, which are recognized within the Cameras and Sensors category.

Camera and sensor products that enhance visual and multimodal perception in edge AI systems.
- Camera products include devices and components designed for image capture, processing, and optimization. These include cameras, camera modules, and supporting processing components, which can be delivered as hardware, software, or intellectual property. Examples include industrial cameras, camera modules, image signal processors (ISPs), codecs, digital signal processors (DSPs), and vision processors.
- Sensor products consist of sensors and sensor modules that enable the capture and interpretation of various data types for edge AI systems. Examples of these include image sensors, depth sensors, time-of-flight (ToF) sensors, microphones and audio arrays, environmental sensors (like temperature, humidity, gas, and air quality sensors), as well as vibration and motion sensors, radar, and lidar.
