Montreal, Canada, May 29, 2018 – Algolux Inc., the leading provider of machine learning optimization platforms for autonomous vision, today announced that Ray Cisneros has joined the company as Vice President of Global Sales. He will be responsible for directing overall sales strategy, developing relationships with key accounts, and scaling the organization to accelerate growth and expand into new markets and territories.
Ray brings with him over 25 years of sales and marketing management experience in CMOS image sensors, fiber optics and semiconductors. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Omnivision, a leading provider of advanced imaging solutions to automotive, industrial and consumer markets. During his 15 years with the company, he was instrumental in growing revenue from $50M to nearly $1.4B in the most recent fiscal year.

During a tenure at Omnivision that started in 2002, Ray held several roles in sales management including VP Worldwide Sales and Sales Operations since 2012. Prior to OmniVision, he held various senior management positions in the area of sales and marketing for companies in the fiber optics and semiconductor industries, including Sagitta, Inc., UMC and Novellus Systems, Inc. Earlier in his career, Ray served as a failure analyst and materials engineer at FMC Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.
