New Standard for Embedded Vision

August 29, 2019 – Vision Components will exhibit and give a talk at Embedded VISION Europe in Stuttgart, Germany. Company founder and CEO Michael Engel will speak about MIPI cameras as the new standard for embedded vision. Vision Components is the market leader, offering the widest available variety of MIPI camera boards, with image sensor resolutions ranging up to 13 MP. These high-end boards meet industrial standards and are available in large quantities at consumer prices.

The showcase will include MIPI boards that connect to various CPU boards from Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA, and other manufacturers. Attendees will also be able to find out all about fully integrated embedded vision systems: Vision Components will present current VC Z cameras with an onboard Xilinx Zynq SoC. These are used for inspection, code reading, pattern recognition, 3D measurement, motion analysis, robot guidance, and many other applications. Vision Components is an embedded vision trailblazer who has developed and perfected several generations of powerful intelligent cameras and software in over 20 years.
