Fahed Hassenat, COO and Director of Engineering at Sensor Cortek, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products in Synopsys’ booth at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Hassenat demonstrates AI-based radar detection for edge applications.
In the demonstration, Hassenat describes how Sensor Cortek captures raw radar data and implements a signal processing pipeline that combines filtering operations and AI-based decision making. The company then embeds the pipeline they developed onto the Synopsys ARC® VPX5 DSP, where it runs with high efficiency and low power consumption, as required for edge applications.
