Peter Fenn, Director of the Advanced Applications Group at Avnet, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2024 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Fenn demonstrates the new QCS6940 SMARC SOM and Vision AI Development Kit from Avnet Embedded.
An example vision AI application, including two cameras and four simultaneous vision AI inferences, is shown running on the high-performance AI engines included in the QCS6490 SoC. The new vision kit will be shipping in the Q4 2024 time frame.
