Introducing PSOC™ Edge City: A New Developer Education Program

Infineon and Hackster.io have launched PSOC™ Edge City, a guided educational developer program designed to build practical expertise with PSOC™ Edge technologies — at your own pace, through structured learning and hands-on challenges.

What Is PSOC™ Edge City?

PSOC™ Edge City is a multi-stage developer education program built for embedded systems engineers and developers who want to go deeper with PSOC™ Edge. The program combines structured learning modules, technical quizzes, and real hardware opportunities, all building toward a single culminating design contest.

This isn’t a one-and-done tutorial. It’s a progressive learning path that takes you from foundational knowledge through to active project development, with each stage unlocking the next.

How is the program structured?

The learning path is designed to be straightforward to follow. Here’s how participants move through PSOC™ Edge City:

  1. Create or log in to your Hackster account
  2. Join the Infineon community on Hackster
  3. Enroll in the Infineon Academy
  4. Complete the current learning activity/module
  5. Take the associated quiz and enter for a chance to win free hardware
  6. Continue progressing through the four (4) PSOC™ Edge City learning path and modules, completing the quizzes and have more chances to win free hardware
  7. Prepare for the design contest, where participants will compete in the Boss Battle

As you work through the training modules and quizzes, you’ll also earn opportunities to receive PSOC™ Edge AI kits — putting hardware in your hands as you advance through the program.

The road to the boss battle design contest

The training modules are just the beginning. The educational program builds progressively, moving from foundational learning into deeper technical content, including an edge AI training phase powered by DEEPCRAFT™ AI software. As you complete each stage, you’ll transition from learning to building — culminating in the Boss Battle in the AI Arena, where participants can submit their own projects and compete for a cash prize.

The full timeline gives you the time to learn properly and build something meaningful. Start now, work through the modules through the end of summer 2026, and be ready when the Boss Battle activates in the fall of 2026.

Get started

The program is live now. If you’re working with PSOC™ Edge — or want to — this is a structured way to develop real skills, get access to hardware, and put your knowledge to the test.
