Stadtroda, November 1, 2017 – Allied Vision’s new camera platform and its ALVIUM® Technology were awarded by the French metrology magazine "mesures". Representing Allied Vision, Philippe Berger of Stemmer Imaging S.A.S., Allied Vision’s distribution partner in France, accepted the award on October 18, 2017, from Pascal Coutance, editor-in-chief of the magazine "mesures".

At the 22nd "Palmarès technologique" the editorial staff of the professional magazine for the optimization of industrial processes honored innovative products. Within 10 defined categories, only one product was awarded as the best for each category.

Innovative approach

The experts of the NewsCo publishing company confirm the innovative approach of Allied Vision’s 1 Product Line building the bridge between embedded and the PC-based vision systems by awarding it. Designed for embedded vision applications, but also fulfilling the high standards of industrial and scientific image processing also referred to as "machine vision", the platform combines the performance of a machine vision camera and the advantages of an embedded camera.

The unique ALVIUM® technology is the core of the Allied Vision 1 Product Line. It is a proprietary chip design optimized for advanced digital imaging combined with a comprehensive image processing library (IPL) derived from over 25 years of expertise in machine vision.
