Oculi’s IntelliPixel Technology Enables Real-time Gesture Control for Interactive Displays and XR

Users have been longing to experience the new touchless interactive technology on their devices. Whether it’s hand tracking, hand posture, face detection or gaze detection, they all require real-time performance while operating with limited resources. OCULI SPU™ is a novel vision architecture and the only Software-Defined Vision Sensor™ on a single chip enabling solutions for lower latency, lower power, and bandwidth .

Camera sensors are predominant in machine vision and are based on mega-pixels of resolution. Advanced processors can perform trillions of operations per second. With this combination, one would expect vision architecture (camera + computer) today to be on par with human vision. However the amount of irrelevant data and the power consumed to generate it are huge. OCULI SPU overcomes these challenges and outperforms all sensors by far with the thousands of frames per milli-seconds and minimal power consumption at the level of the system.

Oculi is looking to develop partnerships with OEMs and Tier 1s to incorporate the OCULI SPU in modules and end-products.  If you are interested in working with Oculi technology, please contact Oculi at [email protected]. Learn more about Oculi technology at https://www.oculi.ai/technology.
