Avnet Demonstration of Low-cost, High Performance Machine Vision Using AMD’s Zynq Ultrascale+

Tom Curran, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Avnet, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Curran demonstrates Avnet’s new ZUBoard 1CG, a low-cost, flexible development platform for AMD’s new Zynq Ultrascale+ ZU1CG MPSoC device. The ZUBoard is running a face detection application, leveraging both the dual Arm Cortex-A53 processing system and the programmable logic included on the ZU1CG device.
