Nick Sullivan, Researcher at Lattice Semiconductor, demonstrates the company’s latest edge AI and vision technologies and products at the 2022 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Sullivan demonstrates a version of his company’s MASE AI engine, ported to run on an automotive embedded system. Its functionality has been expanded to estimate fatigue and distraction. It is optimized within the context of a driver monitoring system, where it can warn the user when they are inattentive or falling asleep.
