You have just decided to evaluate one of Infineon’s PSOC™ family of MCUs, be it PSOC™ Edge or PSOC™ Control. But you do not have the time to wait for the kit to arrive.
What now? Well, we heard you.
Introducing Infineon Live Lab – The world’s only physical hardware on a real-time cloud evaluation platform.
What is Infineon Live Lab?
Infineon Live Lab is a browser-based, real-hardware evaluation platform that lets you try Infineon devices (for example: PSOC™ Edge, PSOC™ Control, and AIROC™ CYW55913) remotely, without waiting for a physical kit.
This platform provides you complete ecosystem of Infineon development kits, software tools, oscilloscope, and other tools to measure power consumption, enabling you to discover the capabilities of the MCU while evaluating your ideas and applications.
Why Infineon Live Lab?
- No wait time. Infineon Live Lab can be accessed anytime, anywhere
- All the required tools, including power monitors and oscilloscopes used to evaluate the devices, are part of the setup
- Selected labs allows access to a complete development tool chain including ModusToolbox™ IDE, DEEPCRAFT™ Studio etc.
How it works
At Infineon Live Lab, each setup consists of multiple cameras to provide you with live video from multiple angles while you are interacting with the demo.
We have also placed speakers and microphones for cases where audio is part of the demo. For example, in the Music Player demo of PSOC™ Edge, you can play a song on the PSOC™ Edge kit and hear it directly in your browser. You can also use voice commands to change the track or adjust the volume.
Currently, the Live Lab platform offers evaluation access to multiple Infineon devices, including:
- PSOC™ Edge E84 Evaluation
- PSOC™ Control C3M5 Complete System Motor Control Kit Evaluation
- AIROC™ CYW55913 Hosted Mode Evaluation
- AIROC™ CYW20829 Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.4 MCU Evaluation
PSOC™ Edge E84 Evaluation
In this Live Lab, PSOC™ Edge E84 Evaluation Kit is available to evaluate all out-of-the-box demos like carousel app, music player, video player etc., along with 74 other example codes, that you can program and test directly on the platform.

This setup also includes a remotely accessible PC with Infineon’s ModusToolbox™ IDE and DEEPCRAFT™ Studio to customize the example codes as per your needs and allow you to build and test your own applications.
PSOC™ Control C3M5 Complete System Motor Control Kit
In this Live Lab, a PSOC™ Control C3M5 Complete System Motor Control Kit is coupled with dual motor adaptor to control two BLDC motors from a single PSOC™ Control Device. Here, you can evaluate the capability of PSOC™ Control to run two motors simultaneously along with evaluation of ModusToolbox™ Motor Suite to control both the motors.

The setup comes with PicoScope to monitor phase current waveforms. Additionally, it also integrates ModusToolbox™ Motor Suite to ease your development and allows you to use various advanced features like Oscilloscope, PID Tuner etc. built into the Motor Suite application.
AIROC™ CYW55913 Hosted Mode Evaluation
AIROC™ CYW55913 Hosted Mode Evaluation Live Lab enables you to evaluate the AIROC™ CYW55913 Wi-Fi Connected MCU working in a real-world application while providing high-performance connectivity, sensor integration and edge level data processing.
This Live Lab also allows you to evaluate the host-mode architecture which allows to offload networking tasks from the host processor to CYW55913.

AIROC™ CYW20829 Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.4 MCU Evaluation
This Live Lab allow you to evaluate AIROC™ CYW20829 ultra-low-power MCU with integrated Bluetooth® LE 5.4 for IoT applications. This setup enables you to evaluate the impact of various BLE operations on the power consumption of CYW20829 SoC by correlating real-time current measurements with Bluetooth® LE activity.
