Upcoming Webinar on Real-Time Perception and the Role of FPGAs

On July 25, 2026, at 1:00 pm PDT (4:00 pm EDT) Lattice Semiconductor will deliver a webinar “The Future of Robotics: Real-Time Perception, Edge AI, & the Role of FPGAs” From the event page:

As robotics systems evolve from traditional automation to intelligent, perception-driven platforms, new architectural considerations are emerging around real-time sensing, data processing, and system design. Lattice will host a LinkedIn Live panel session with subject matter experts from Lattice, Airy3D, and MassRobotics to discuss how advances in 3D sensing, machine vision, sensor fusion, and edge AI are shaping next-generation robotics systems, like humanoids.

Modern robotic and industrial systems increasingly rely on accurate near-field perception at the point of interaction, such as robotic end-effectors and in-hand manipulation. As these use cases expand, system architects are exploring new ways to deliver efficient, compact, and scalable sensing and compute architectures at the edge. This panel will explore how emerging system designs leverage low power FPGAs for near-sensor processing and workload partitioning, enabling more responsive and efficient robotics platforms. Humanoid robotics will be referenced as an example to illustrate these system-level trends.
