ImagingNext 2025 Inspires the AI Vision Community: Exciting Insights, Powerful Keynote Speeches, and Valuable Contacts

Munich, Bavaria, Germany – September 25th, 2025 – This year’s ImagingNext, the leading event for AI vision and embedded imaging, was a resounding success. Around 100 participants came together to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and use cases in the field of vision AI in an inspiring atmosphere. The mood was great – from the technical presentations, panel discussions, to the networking opportunities, the community was enthusiastic.

Technical depth and excellent presentations

The keynotes made a particularly strong impression. NXP’s technology and business leader Ali Osman Ors focused on the future role of AI in the industrial environment, while Eyal Rond, General Manager and VP of R&D at RealSense Biometrics and Access Control Solutions, shed light on AI in biometrics. With a strong focus on hardware, Dr. Alex Lopich, Director of Engineering at Altera, and Maycon Douglas da Silva Carvalho, Sr. Solution Architect at NVIDIA, inspired the audience. Alex Lopich showed how FPGAs can be used to build powerful, real-time AI systems. Maycon Douglas da Silva Carvalho spoke about robotics, edge AI, and digital twins, highlighting NVIDIA’s latest platforms such as Jetson AGX Thor.

Renowned speakers from industry and science at FRAMOS, SONY, Toradex, Prophesee, Muybridge, and the Technical University of Dortmund also provided concrete insights into their latest developments—from innovative image sensor technologies to powerful AI hardware for vision applications.

The two panel discussions were another highlight of ImagingNext. Participants engaged in lively discussions, exchanging interesting ideas and viewpoints and answering important questions.

“The first highlight was the presentation of NVIDIA. It was interesting to see this top-notch technology and the ecosystem that was presented, and – obviously – the different perspectives,” said one of the ImagingNext participants at the end of the event.

NXP’s keynote speaker Ali Osman Ors added: “It is a great event where we have a lot of our leading partners. For us, it is about getting together and having these deep technical conversations.”

Alex Lopich, keynote speaker from Altera, stated: “Unlike pure academic conferences, where it is more about science, or pure industry events, where it is more about prices and capabilities, ImagingNext is the perfect mix. If you are in Imaging: This is the event to go to.”

David Kallenbach, Head of Technical Solutions & Support at FRAMOS, concluded: “ImagingNext is all about connecting inspiring ideas in embedded vision and edge AI with the people who drive innovation — industry experts, thought leaders, and customers — in an exceptional setting.”

Outlook for 2026

Following the successful launch, FRAMOS is already looking ahead: ImagingNext 2026 will be the platform for exciting innovations, practical insights, and renewed networking at the highest level. Planning is already underway, and the community can look forward to new ideas for the future of AI vision. More information will be available on the FRAMOS website in early 2026.
