On July 29, 2026 at 10:00 am PT (1:00 pm ET), Intel will present the webinar “Agentic Smart City Systems: Real-Time Traffic Orchestration.” Here’s the description, from the event registration page:
Beat congestion, save time, and route smarter in this hands-on, gamified workshop where Agentic AI meets Edge AI to power next-generation smart cities and transform urban traffic management. Urban congestion costs billions annually and delays emergency response—traditional traffic systems relying on static rules or historical data simply can’t keep up with fast-changing city environments.
In this session, you’ll explore how Agentic AI orchestrates multiple specialized agents, combined with Edge AI inference powered by OpenVINO™, to enable cities to react and adapt in real time. Using the Open Edge Platform as the architectural backbone, participants will build and operate a simulated smart city where edge-deployed models analyze traffic streams, agents reason over city-wide context, and decisions are continuously optimized.
Through the gamified simulation, developers will experience firsthand how agent-based systems outperform conventional approaches in scalability, latency, and resilience—while gaining practical skills to apply in real-world smart city, mobility, and edge AI projects.
What you’ll learn:
- How to design and deploy real-time intelligent systems using agentic reasoning and low-latency edge execution on Intel® Xeon® processors, with optional Intel® Arc™ Pro GPU acceleration.
- How to leverage Open Edge Platform + OpenVINO to enable optimized, real-world AI systems—not just demos but deployable architectures.
- How to build your own agents, define decision logic, and deploy edge inference for real-time traffic orchestration.
